NYPD Detective Michael Hanson was an ESU veteran involved in countless rescues, including 9/11. Tragically he passed away in 2018 from a 9/11 illness. Cathy shares her heart-wrenching story of honoring his legacy, and her current fight to have his death recognized by the city of New York. If we are to honor his legacy and that of all 9/11 heroes, Cathy and Mike’s story must be heard. Please listen and help spread the word. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
